Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and onboard vendors for products, components, and sub-assemblies
• Conduct vendor visits and assess technical capability, quality, financial stability, and delivery performance
• Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate pricing and commercial terms
• Monitor vendor performance across cost, quality, and delivery
• Identify vendor risks and ensure continuity of supply
• Manage vendor agreements, renewals, and performance reviews
• Coordinate with Finance and vendors for invoice and payment-related activities
• Collaborate with Purchase, Quality, Engineering, Production, and other internal teams
• Provide vendor performance and risk updates to senior management
• Travel minimum 10 days per month for vendor visits and development
Requirements:
• 5–8 years of experience in Vendor Development / Purchase / Procurement
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or automotive sector
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of engineering components and manufacturing processes
• Experience with vendors in Gujarat and Punjab will be an added advantage
• Willingness to travel extensively
