Job Summary

This role is for a Cloud Engineer at Happiest Mind, focusing on Azure Cloud technologies. The candidate will contribute to optimizing cloud resources, enhancing operational efficiencies, and supporting incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VM) and storage accounts.
• Implement and configure Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and tagging to optimize costs.
• Develop and maintain Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for resource deployments.
• Set up and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.
• Support incident management and enhance monitoring using DataDog.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless communication and operational support.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud and VM provisioning.
  • Strong knowledge in Shell and PowerShell Scripting.
  • Experience with Azure Tagging, Permission Access, and Cost Optimization strategies.
  • Familiarity with Azure App Gateway, Private End Points, and AKS.
  • Understanding of Linux environments and DataDog Monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple teams (both onshore and offshore).

• Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL is a plus.

Experience

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering.

Environment

• Location: Bangalore, with a requirement to work in the office 4 days a week.

Salary

• Estimated salary is ₹1.6 lakh per month, including margins.
