Job Summary

The Software Engineer plays a key role in the development and enhancement of software solutions within the organization. This position involves analyzing user specifications, designing systems, coding, testing, and maintaining software while supporting the overall objectives of the business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications to define user requirements for the development of new software or upgrades to existing solutions.
• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies; propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
• Develop software according to industry standards, including modeling, designing, and implementing databases.
• Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to ensure quality aligns with guidelines.
• Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, making necessary adjustments to finalize the product.
• Support customers by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with the Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst.
• Produce necessary software documentation and issue it to the requesting departments.

Qualifications

• Technical/functional knowledge and experience in software engineering.
• Ability to work with existing procedures or guidelines and input to influence area decisions.
• Strong analytical skills to recommend new solutions and propose improvements.
• Proficient in designing systems and coding according to standards.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
