Job Summary

The Plant Head will be responsible for establishing a dedicated leadership role that has been previously managed by the promoters. This position will oversee the plant's overall operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness while aligning with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end plant management to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are met.
• Create and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and evaluate productivity and performance.
• Drive operational excellence and implement productivity improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Lead and mentor section heads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Participate in strategic planning and scalability efforts to support the growth of plant operations.
• Utilize SAP Business One for operational management and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Education: Relevant degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in:
  • Injection molding companies
  • In-Mold Labeling (IML) manufacturing
  • Packaging manufacturing organizations, such as UFlex or Mold-Tek
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational capabilities
  • Background in operational excellence methodologies
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One software

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to printing operations
• Experience in food manufacturing organizations like ITC, Britannia, Cremica, and Anmol would be advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in plant operations or a similar role within the manufacturing sector is preferred.

Environment

• The typical work setting will involve a manufacturing plant environment, with responsibilities that may require regular interactions with various operational sections.
