Design Intern

Job Summary

The Design Intern will create engaging media visual content and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, contributing to real projects that align with the organization’s goals. The intern will develop skills in graphic design, digital tools, and collaborative project work.

Responsibilities

• Designing UI/UX for web and mobile applications using industry-standard tools such as Figma and Canva.
• Create graphics, illustrations, and visual layouts for digital and print media.
• Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure visual consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Support the preparation of presentation materials and design assets.
• Review and iterate on design deliverables based on feedback from team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A good design head.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in design or a related field.
• Proficiency in UI/UX Design principles and best practices.
• Strong skills in graphic design, with proven experience using Canva and Figma.
• Basic knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, and color theory.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
• Understanding of prototyping and wireframing processes.
• Knowledge of current design trends and digital media standards.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in UI/UX or Graphic Design.
• Internship or project experience working with design teams is advantageous.

Environment

• Location: Gurgaon, India.
• Work Setting: Remote/ typically in-office; collaborative and dynamic workplace.
• Physical/Environmental Conditions: Standard office environment.

Salary

• ₹60,000 – ₹2,40,000 per annum.
