Platform Engineering Architect

Job Summary

The Platform Engineering Architect will define the long-term architectural blueprint for ServiceNow across all domains, including IT, HR, Finance, Risk, and Procurement. This role is crucial in leading platform maturity initiatives and ensuring the integration of end-to-end solution architectures with core enterprise systems. The architect will drive platform rationalization and partner with key stakeholders to shape governance and funding models.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term architectural blueprint for ServiceNow across all domains (IT, HR, Finance, Risk, Procurement).
• Lead platform maturity initiatives, including CMDB enhancement, automation, AIOps, and predictive analytics.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures that integrate with core enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, and Salesforce.
• Drive platform rationalization, instance strategy, and ensure alignment with data residency regulations.
• Partner with transformation leads, CIOs, and security leaders to shape platform governance and funding models.
• Evaluate new platform capabilities (e.g., Now Assist, GenAI, Data Fabric) and steer the adoption roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic architecture role at an enterprise scale.
• Strong grasp of architectural patterns, compliance, and cloud-native integrations.
• Proven track record of leading multi-domain ServiceNow implementations globally.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Master Architect or Technical Architect preferred; CSA, CAD, and multiple CIS required.
• Strong development experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python.
• Ability to influence C-level stakeholders and present platform strategy in executive forums.
