Job Summary

The Sales Operations - Support role is crucial for ensuring seamless order management, sales coordination, and customer fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the ingredients and food manufacturing industries along with strong operational and stakeholder management skills, contributing directly to the operational success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end order management process from order receipt to fulfillment.
• Coordinate with sales, production, logistics, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track customer orders and proactively resolve fulfillment issues.
• Maintain accurate sales and order documentation in ERP/CRM systems.
• Support the sales team with quotations, documentation, reports, and customer communication.
• Coordinate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with import documentation and compliance activities (preferred).
• Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with supply chain teams for smooth execution.

Qualifications

• Education: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from Tier 2 or Tier 3 colleges.
• Experience: 3-5 years in Food Ingredients, Nutrition, and Specialty Ingredients for the food and beverage industry.
• Experience in food ingredients, specialty ingredients, nutraceuticals, food manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Prior experience in ingredient houses, functional nutrition organizations, or importers/distributors is preferred.
• Strong understanding of order fulfillment and supply chain coordination.
• Exposure to manufacturing and import/export operations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of import compliance documentation is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Analytical skills for tracking KPIs and supporting operational decision-making.

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in food ingredients or allied industries.

Environment

• The work is based in Mumbai, India. The specific work setting may be office-based with potential collaboration with remote teams, depending on operational needs.
