Job Summary

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Mendix Developer to join us on a contract basis. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of applications using the Mendix low-code platform. You’ll play a key role in architecting scalable solutions, mentoring development teams, and delivering enterprise-grade applications in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development: Drive the end-to-end delivery of Mendix applications—from requirements gathering through to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Architecture & Design: Define solution architecture, design scalable and high-performance Mendix applications, and integrate with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases, etc.).
• Mentor & Guide: Support junior developers, enforce Mendix development best practices, and drive Agile workflows within the team.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, implement unit and integration testing, and ensure adherence to QA standards.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor application health, optimize performance, and resolve production issues effectively.
• Governance & Best Practices: Maintain and enforce Mendix development standards, contribute to reusable component libraries and internal documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Mendix development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is required; Expert Certification is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience in integrating Mendix applications with external systems (REST/SOAP, OData, etc.).
• Proficiency in version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (Mendix Cloud, Azure, AWS).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and relational database design.
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience with other low-code platforms and enterprise application integration.

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Mendix development, including leadership responsibilities.

Environment

• Hybrid model (3 days Work From Office) located in Bangalore.
