Job Summary

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom backend logic on the SFCC platform. The role involves enhancing commerce functionality through SFRA-based implementations, integrating with external systems via RESTful and SOAP APIs, and providing technical guidance and support to both QA and business teams. This position plays a crucial role in extending SFCC capabilities to meet evolving eCommerce requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Custom Logic: Create and support SFCC backend components including controllers, jobs, and scripts.
• Enhance Commerce Functionality: Work with SFRA-based implementations to improve existing functionalities.
• Implement Business Manager Configurations: Extend and configure SFCC Business Manager settings, jobs, and services.
• API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs with external services such as payment gateways, CRM, ERP, OMS, and PIM.
• Third-Party Integrations: Implement OCAPI and SCAPI endpoints to support integrations with external systems.
• Custom Cartridges and Extensions: Develop custom cartridges to extend SFCC capabilities and customize product catalogs, promotions, and checkout workflows.
• Data Synchronization: Implement custom jobs and batch processes to ensure seamless data synchronization across systems.
• Support Multi-Site & Multi-Locale: Work on implementations that support multiple sites and locales.
• Documentation & Guidance: Document technical solutions and best practices for future scalability and provide technical support to QA and business teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on development experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• SFRA Development: Strong expertise in Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and SFCC-specific scripts (ISML, controllers, models, and scripts).
• API Integration: Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, and integrating third-party APIs.
• Customizations: Knowledge of developing custom cartridges, jobs, and handling data import/export.
• Commerce Cloud Digital: Hands-on experience with Commerce Cloud Digital components such as Business Manager, Einstein, and SFCC B2C functionalities.
• eCommerce Workflows: Understanding of catalog management, checkout processes, and order processing workflows.
• DevOps: Experience with cloud deployment, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
