Job Summary

The NetSuite & OneSource Functional Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between finance and tax stakeholders and the technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for enhancements, and providing ongoing support during critical financial periods, such as month-end and quarter-end close.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between finance/tax stakeholders and the technical teams for NetSuite and OneSource.
• Analyze business processes and identify system enhancements or automation opportunities.
• Configure and validate indirect tax rules, jurisdictions, and rates in OneSource.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), troubleshoot tax/ERP issues, and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate on tax determination logic to ensure accurate tax posting in NetSuite.
• Translate business requirements into actionable tasks for technical teams, and vice versa.
• Communicate project updates to all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support to the Finance organization, especially during month-end and quarter-end close.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience with NetSuite ERP (Finance/Procurement/Order-to-Cash).
  • 2+ years of experience working with OneSource (Indirect Tax preferred).
• Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with SuiteTax or SuiteTax API in NetSuite.
  • Understanding of ERP-tax integration, compliance workflows, and system configurations.
  • Proficiency in data mapping, system integrations, and process documentation.
  • Experience with system implementations or upgrades.
  • Familiarity with Coupa or other procurement tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effective in conflict resolution, active listening, and time management.
  • Highly collaborative, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with additional tax compliance software or tools.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in financial systems, particularly with NetSuite and OneSource.
