Job Summary

The Data Steward role is crucial for ensuring data governance and management practices are maintained within the organization. This position is expected to uphold data quality standards, apply analytical skills to explore data, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks and data management principles.
• Execute data quality (DQ) rule creation and DQ scorecarding, preferably using Informatica IDQ/CDQ.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis by querying various data sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate analytical insights and maintain strong customer domain knowledge.
• Apply problem-solving skills to address data quality and governance issues.
• Assist in cataloguing data and ensuring accurate data management practices.

Qualifications

• Must Have Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of SQL.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Informatica IDQ and CDQ.

• Secondary Skills:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Domain knowledge in customer-related operations.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field (not specified but typically a bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field).

Preferred Skills

• Basic proficiency in Databricks and Azure Cloud fundamentals.
• Knowledge of data quality concepts and data governance frameworks.
