Job Summary
The Principal will lead and manage a girls' residential school, ensuring a high standard of education and the well-being of all students. This role is essential for creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning, empowerment, and personal development for female students.
Responsibilities
- School Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the school.
- Policy Implementation: Enforce school policies, particularly those related to the residential aspects.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the school budget, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and compliance with industry standards.
- Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Curriculum Implementation: Ensure that the curriculum meets educational standards and the specific needs of the students.
- Student Welfare: Guarantee the safety and well-being of all students, providing a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in educational leadership or administration.
- Skills: Strong administrative, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Budget Management: Experience in effective budget management.
- Curriculum Development: Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment.
- Staff Development: Ability to promote professional development through training and workshops.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with residential school policies and practices.
- Experience in empowering female students through leadership and personal development programs.
- Understanding of gender-specific issues and health and safety considerations for girls.
Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in educational leadership or school administration.
- Proven experience in managing residential life in an educational setting.
