Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically adept Business Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to transform business data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-backed business decisions, automate reporting, and develop impactful dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify business trends and opportunities.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Develop data analysis and automation scripts using Python.
• Build insightful dashboards and reports to monitor business KPIs and operational performance.
• Create executive-ready presentations using PowerPoint to communicate business insights and recommendations.
• Leverage advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Lookup functions, Macros, etc.) for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with business, operations, product, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements based on data.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency through data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years in roles such as Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or other similar analytical positions.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, for data analysis and automation).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a distinct advantage.
• Strong business acumen coupled with a data-first mindset.
