Job Summary

The Regional Placement Manager is pivotal in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with employers across various industries. This role drives placement opportunities for students, ensuring high conversion rates. The position plays a critical part in aligning educational outcomes with industry requirements, ultimately contributing to the organization's goals of enhancing student employability.

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Relations & Business Development

    • Identify and establish new corporate partnerships for student placements within the region.
    • Strengthen existing client tie-ups to ensure ongoing recruitment opportunities.
    • Develop long-term relationships with HR leaders and Talent Acquisition Heads.
    • Conduct professional presentations and meetings to secure placement partnerships.
    • Represent the organization at industry forums and networking events.
  • Placement Operations

    • Plan and execute campus recruitment drives across all regional centers.
    • Facilitate campus interviews and recruitment processes with employers in sectors such as Airlines, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, Customer Service, and Retail.
    • Coordinate interview schedules, candidate assessments, and employer interactions.
  • Student Placement & Employability

    • Achieve a minimum of 90% student placement rate across the assigned region.
    • Monitor placement progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Collaborate with Training and Operations teams to align student competencies with industry demands.
    • Provide guidance to students regarding interview preparation and career opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers.
    • Act as the primary contact for all placement-related corporate engagements.
    • Gather employer feedback and work with academic teams to enhance student employability.
  • MIS & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of employer interactions, placement activities, and student placements.
    • Prepare periodic reports on placement performance and engagement metrics.
    • Track key metrics to ensure the achievement of regional goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Placement, Corporate Relations, or Training & Placement functions.
  • Preferred experience in educational institutions, skill development organizations, or the aviation, hospitality, and vocational training sectors.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong corporate networking and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving placement targets.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes.
  • Skills in data analysis, reporting, and MIS management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years and up to 12 years of relevant experience in placement and corporate relations.

Environment

  • The position is based in major cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, with extensive travel required within the assigned region.

Salary

  • Salary in the range of 8-10 LPA.
