Job Summary

The SCM Functional Consultant will leverage extensive experience in Oracle R12.2 EBS to support, enhance, and optimize supply chain management processes within the organization. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and functional support of Oracle SCM modules, with specific focuses on Order Management and Procure to Pay. The consultant will be expected to travel to Halol, Gujarat for period-end closings, aligning with the company's operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional Consultant with a focus on manufacturing processes, particularly within the Order Management and Procure to Pay modules.
• Define project priorities and write functional specifications while coordinating developments with the technical team.
• Conduct regular testing and user training while effectively communicating enhancements and updates.
• Report on project activities to management and collaborate with functional support in other zones to share information.
• Implement best practices in promoting code to different instances effectively.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the full project life cycle and Oracle Implementation methodologies including Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) and Oracle Unified Method (OUM).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in software consulting.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Order Management and Procure to Pay modules.
• Experience with India Localization and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Must possess excellent client management, communication (written and oral), and team collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL as well as tools like SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, and version control systems.
• A track record of promoting code best practices within teams.

Preferred Skills

• Additional knowledge of other Oracle modules and related business processes would be advantageous.
• Certifications in Oracle applications or relevant supply chain management processes.

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in SCM consulting and hands-on involvement with Oracle EBS implementations.

Environment

• This is a remote position with the candidate required to be based in Pune/Mumbai for convenience of travel to Halol, Gujarat once a month (5-7 days).
