Job Summary

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of web and desktop applications using the .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as troubleshoot and optimize existing applications to ensure high performance and scalability. This role requires a proactive attitude towards process improvement and a commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using the .NET framework with experience in JavaScript and Angular.
• Create, optimize, and maintain databases for applications using SQL Server.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Deploy new changes to Non-Production and Production environments.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and testers to enhance applications based on market requests and backlog stories.
• Work with vendors for new product features, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams for patching, maintenance, and migration activities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8-9 years of development experience with .NET applications and SQL Server.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server (Mandatory).
• Experience in .NET application development with JavaScript and Angular (Mandatory).
• Knowledge and experience in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS (SQL Server) is preferred.
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ or any Messaging Queues (Mandatory).
• Knowledge of MongoDB and Elastic Search.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Java.
• Experience with Elastic Search.
• Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) is an added advantage.

Experience

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in software development.
