Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall invoice, collection, and cash application activities. This role entails the timely management of all accounts receivable aging components and plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving sustained cash flow through diligent monitoring of customer accounts.
Responsibilities

AR Operations Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections.
- Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on customer payments and resolution of discrepancies.
- Manage customer accounts and monitor aging reports to minimize overdue receivables.

Credit and Risk Management:
- Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by analyzing available data and credit reports.
- Establish and maintain credit limits and terms for customers in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor and manage credit risks to minimize bad debt exposure.

Collections & Credit Control:
- Prepare and present DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and develop strategies to reduce it.
- Implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances and improve cash flow.
- Negotiate with customers to settle overdue accounts.

Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Ensure periodic reconciliation of all customer ledgers for accurate accounting.
- Manage month-end closing tasks and prepare aging reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and relevant regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AR operations.

Dispute Resolution & Customer Service:
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, credit notes, and customer queries efficiently.
Qualifications

Education:
- Graduation degree or equivalent.

Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience as a manager in accounts receivable.
- Relevant experience in accounts receivable and credit control.
- Experience in driving process improvement.

Skills:
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software.
- Familiarity with advanced formulas in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
- Strong numerical data processing abilities.
- Team management and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving attitude and commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Previous supervisory experience in accounts receivable management would be an advantage.
- Additional certifications in finance or accounting could be beneficial.
Experience
- Minimum of two years of experience managing accounts receivable operations.
Environment
The position involves working from Monday to Saturday, with timings from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The second and fourth Saturdays are off. Specific location details are not provided.
