R Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced R Developer to join our team and work on data-driven applications, analytics solutions, and statistical models. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in R programming, data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualization, along with the ability to work with large datasets and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications, scripts, and analytical solutions using R.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, analysis, and statistical modeling on large datasets.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and automated analytical workflows.
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Shiny, ggplot2, Plotly, etc.
- Work with databases and perform data extraction using SQL.
- Develop statistical models and support data-driven business decisions.
- Optimize existing R code and analytical processes for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and production-ready code.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytical solutions.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in R development.
- Strong proficiency in R programming and R packages such as dplyr, tidyr, data.table, ggplot2, and Shiny.
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, and data manipulation.
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience building data visualizations and dashboards.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
- Experience working with APIs and integrating data from multiple sources.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
