About the role
- As a Pega Lead System Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality Pega solutions for our clients.
- You will work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to understand the requirements and deliver solutions that meet the business needs and expectations.
- The expectation to be the work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand requirements and Prerequisites
- You will also mentor and coach junior/senior Pega developers and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- You will help the junior/senior resources to incorporate Code Review and Design review comments and keep the sanity of the application.
- Advocate and implement best practices for reusability and quality standards within the Pega platform.
*Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
JSkills and qualifications
- At least 12+ years of experience in Pega development.
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA) is required
- Strong knowledge of Pega platform, frameworks, and methodologies. Prior experience on Smart Dispute and Smart Investigate is a plus
- Demonstrated experience on architecting complex solutions on Pega
- Should have experience with the new Pega features like Pega Constellation and App studio
- Should have knowledge to migrate the application in Constellation.
- Experience in Agile projects (Sprint estimation, Retrospection)
- Experience in integrating Pega with other systems and technologies, such as databases, cloud services, etc.
- Developing the overall technical architecture, including system, data, and integration architectures, while designing Pega application's technical components such as rules, flows, integrations, and user interfaces
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have Post Go-Live support & Knowledge Transition
- Help the team in deployment and Production Support activities
- Analytical ability, ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint, learnability in new domains, Ability to create complex, large scale and software/hardware intensive solutions,
- Ability to clearly articulate and engage technically with senior technology/management team of customers
- Work closely with different stakeholders and portfolio leads, business users to understand the requirements / problem statements
- Experience in leading and managing Pega projects, teams, and deliverables
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
