Role Overview Position: Second-in-command to Finance Head (Prateek) Core focus: Financial controllership & accounting Explicit exclusions: No involvement in investor relations No business finance / financial modeling responsibilities Will lead the entire accounts function and manage a team
Key Responsibilities End-to-end financial controllership Managing: Accounting operations Compliance Financial reporting Handling complexities related to: Inventory accounting Logistics & delivery accounting Invoicing structures Import/export accounting
Candidate Profile Experience: ~5–6+ years (flexible for strong candidates) Background preference: Must have worked in physical product-based businesses Examples: Manufacturing, D2C, supply chain-heavy businesses Not preferred: Pure fintech / NBFC profiles without inventory exposure Other traits: Sharp, high ownership mindset Comfortable working in a startup environment
Team Structure Reports to: Prateek (Finance Head) Will have team members reporting under them
Compensation Budget: ₹35–40 LPA (flexible for the right candidate) Earlier mandate had lower budget; now open to higher CTC
Location Kolkata-based role Open to candidates willing to relocate
