Job Summary

We are seeking experienced RPG professionals for two critical roles in our Chennai location. The RPG Developer will focus on software development, whereas the Sr. Lead will oversee project execution and provide technical guidance to the development team. Both positions are vital for ensuring the successful delivery of our projects and contribute significantly to the company’s goals.

Responsibilities

RPG Developer

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV, RPG ILE, and Free Format RPG.
• Create scripts and tools to automate tasks and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting of applications to ensure optimal performance.

Sr. Lead – RPG

• Lead and mentor a team of RPG developers throughout project life cycles.
• Design and architect scalable software solutions using RPG technologies.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding and project management.
• Communicate project updates and challenges to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• RPG IV, RPG ILE, Free Format RPG, CL, SQL/400.
• Proficient with tools such as SEU, RDi, PDM, SDA, DFU, Query/400.
• Strong experience with DB2/400.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or development tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.

Experience

• RPG Developer: 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Sr. Lead – RPG: 12–15 years of relevant experience.

Environment
