Java Full Stack Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Lead with over 8 years of expertise to drive the design, development, and maintenance of scalable enterprise-grade applications. This role involves leading and mentoring a team of full-stack developers across backend and frontend technologies while ensuring best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect innovative solutions and contribute to cloud infrastructure planning.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of full-stack developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive solution design, architecture, and implementation.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit testing and adherence to established coding best practices.
• Cloud Support: Contribute to cloud infrastructure planning and automation efforts when required.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Frontend Skills: Proficient in Angular for frontend development.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or any other cloud provider.
• Architectural Knowledge: Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
• Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours, including occasional overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically expected.

Preferred Skills

• Infrastructure as Code: Familiarity with Terraform or alternative infrastructure-as-code tools.
• DevOps Practices: Exposure to automated deployment processes and DevOps practices.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Additional experience in planning and optimizing cloud infrastructure is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 8+ years in full-stack development.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or team management role, preferably within enterprise-level project environments.

Environment

• Location: Based in India with flexible remote/hybrid work options available as per project needs.
• Work Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST, with flexibility required for occasional EST overlap.
