Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our growing finance team as a Senior Working Capital & Financial Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire working capital lifecycle, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay processes, banking operations, treasury functions, and inventory/fixed asset tracking & management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes within a manufacturing environment and a proven track record of optimizing working capital efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Working Capital Management:
- Implement and manage strategies to optimize cash flow, minimize cycle times, and reduce borrowing needs across the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles.
- Develop and maintain working capital forecasts for accurate financial planning and budgeting.
- Analyze and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across the working capital lifecycle.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Banking & Treasury:
- Manage all aspects of company banking relationships, including account maintenance, cash concentration, and disbursement activities.
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to manage financial risk and optimize returns on investments.
- Monitor currency exchange rates and implement strategies to mitigate foreign exchange risk.
- Inventory & Fixed Asset Management:
- Develop and maintain systems for effective inventory control and optimization.
- Implement fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to working capital, banking, and treasury functions.
- Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance to senior management.
- Project Management:
- Manage and lead cross-functional projects to improve working capital efficiency and implement new financial initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA/MBA preferred).
- 6-8 years of experience in working capital management, financial operations, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and optimizing working capital strategies.
- Strong understanding of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, banking, and treasury processes.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with relevant financial software (e.g., ERP systems) is a plus.
