Job Summary

The Machine Learning Engineer will leverage programming expertise in Python and PySpark to develop and maintain sophisticated machine learning models. This role is essential for extracting insights from data, applying machine learning concepts to real-world problems, and communicating findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain machine learning models using algorithms such as Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, Support Vector Machines (SVM), and Clustering techniques.
  • Utilize Python/PySpark libraries to implement machine learning solutions, ensuring a sound understanding of ML concepts, including Probabilistic Models, Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Ensemble Techniques, and Hyperparameter tuning.
  • Explore data sets to derive actionable insights and communicate these findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Incorporate deep learning methodologies and constraint optimization in problem-solving approaches.
  • Stay updated with the latest research in machine learning and apply new methodologies to various projects.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance data and machine learning services, particularly using platforms like Databricks.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of programming experience in Python/PySpark and machine learning libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms including Regression, Logistic Regression, Random Forest, XGBoost, SVM, and Clustering.
  • Experience in using machine learning tools and libraries such as scikit-learn, H2O, or R/MLlib is preferred.
  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt new research methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and insights to a diverse audience.
  • A proactive approach to exploring data sets and deriving insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Databricks for data and machine learning services.
  • Familiarity with current best practices in machine learning and data analysis.
