Job Summary
As the Business Finance Lead, you will serve as the financial backbone of Bizzy Bix. This role is not merely about reporting or compliance; it involves building from the ground up in a fast-moving consumer brand that is at the start of something significant. You will be responsible for managing financial resources, driving growth initiatives, and ensuring financial accuracy for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities

Financial Management & Planning
- Own the full financial planning cycle: budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with immediate visibility for the founder.
- Build impactful financial models to drive decisions on unit economics, channel margins, and pricing scenarios.
- Lead annual planning and ensure it remains relevant throughout the year.

MIS & Reporting
- Design and manage MIS dashboards providing leadership with real-time visibility into financial data.
- Deliver sharp, timely financial and operational reports that effectively convey insights.
- Ensure data accuracy as the single source of truth for financial information.

P&L Management
- Oversee weekly P&L management, ensuring no surprises in revenues, costs, and gross margins.
- Identify risks and opportunities proactively, supporting decision-making with informed insights.
- Drive cost discipline and maximize capital efficiency across business units.

Audit & Compliance
- Execute internal and statutory audits on schedule, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness in statutory filings including GST, TDS, and ROC.
- Build and manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities confidently.

Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash position regularly to avoid liquidity surprises.
- Continuously optimize working capital to support rapid business growth.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure effective fund utilization.

Payment Recovery Management
- Oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collections.
- Establish frameworks for dunning and recovery to minimize days sales outstanding (DSO).
- Collaborate closely with sales and operations to foster shared accountability for collections.

Bookkeeping & Accounts
- Maintain accurate books including payables and receivables and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review reconciliations for gaps and discrepancies proactively.

ERP & Systems
- Own the company's ERP system, ensuring effective configuration and user governance.
- Drive ERP adoption and enhance financial systems and workflows to mitigate manual processes.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: CA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent. The depth of financial thinking is valued over the credentials alone.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in finance or business finance, preferably in a startup, FMCG company, or fast-moving consumer brand.
- Technical Skills:
- Financial Modelling & Analysis
- Proficiency in P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Management
- Advanced skills in MIS Reporting & Dashboards
- Familiarity with ERP/Accounting Software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Knowledge of Taxation, GST, TDS, and Compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Proven attention to detail and ability to work under pressure efficiently.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in finance, ideally in a dynamic startup or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) space.
