Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Scrum frameworks to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and applying project management best practices to drive business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management principles.
- Utilize Jira for sprint planning, backlog management, issue tracking, and progress reporting.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Track KPIs and project health metrics (velocity, burndown charts, release readiness).
- Ensure projects comply with organizational governance, quality, and compliance standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within teams.
- Mentor junior project managers and guide Scrum Masters in best practices.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in project management, with at least 1+ years in Agile environments.
- Proven experience with Jira (workflows, dashboards, reporting, backlog grooming).
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile, and PMBOK/PRINCE2 methodologies.
- Hands-on experience managing software development and cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with risk, change, and dependency management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other project management tools.
- Familiarity with product development and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of additional Agile methodologies.
Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in project management, specifically within Agile environments.
