About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Retention Marketing Specialist to own and execute our retention strategy across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications. This role demands someone with strong execution skills, a sharp data mindset, and a deep understanding of retention KPIs and customer lifecycle journeys.
Key Responsibilities
● Build, execute, and optimize multi-channel retention campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push using WebEngage
● Create and A/B test journeys, drip campaigns, and automations tailored to customer behavior and lifecycle stages
● Analyze campaign performance using key retention metrics:
○ Repeat Purchase Rate (RPR)
○ Customer Lifetime Value (LTV)
○ Average Order Frequency
○ Churn Rate
○ CAC vs LTV
○ Winback & Dormancy Data
○ Deep dive into cohort analysis, RFM segmentation, and funnel drop-offs to identify actionable insights
● Collaborate with design, content, and tech teams to launch communication with speed and precision
Must-Have Skills & Experience
● 2+ years in retention marketing for a D2C/eCommerce brand
● Proven track record of using WebEngage (or equivalent CRM platforms) ● High data fluency — able to read dashboards, work with Excel/Sheets, and draw actionable insights from raw numbers
● Solid understanding of customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle communication ● Experience with setting up journeys, campaigns, drip flows, and triggered automations ● Knowledge of performance benchmarks like LTV, CAC payback, cohort retention curves, and AOV uplift
