Banyan has been successful at convincing large brands like Unilever, Reckitt and others to use its premium recycled PCR in mainstream primary products and packaging.

 

Banyan views supply chain optimization as the next frontier in its growth story to become India’s premier supplier of PCR. Banyan is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic candidate to lead this transformation.

 

Responsibilities:

**1. **Strategy Development and Implementation**:

   - Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive logistics, warehousing, and distribution strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

   - Identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

 

2. **Operational Oversight**:

   - Oversee the day-to-day operations of logistics, warehousing, and distribution ensuring adherence to established procedures and policies.

   - Ensure the accurate and timely processing and delivery of all orders while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

3. **Team Leadership and Development**:

   - Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing logistics and warehousing team ensuring a positive, productive, and safe working environment.

   - Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.

 

4. **Technology Utilization**:

   - Implement and leverage technology solutions to optimize inventory management, route planning, and real-time tracking.

   - Encourage the adoption of innovative technologies to modernize operations and gain a competitive advantage.

 

5. **Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:

   - Foster strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transport providers ensuring cost-effective and reliable services.

   - Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination throughout the supply chain.

 

6. **Compliance and Risk Management**:

   - Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.

   - Develop and maintain a robust risk management framework to mitigate logistics and supply chain disruptions.

 

7. **Performance Metrics and Analysis**:

   - Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of logistics operations.

   - Use data analytics to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

 

8. **Budget Management**:

   - Oversee the budget for the logistics, warehousing, and distribution function, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal resource allocation.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution management.

- Proven leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Proficient in logistics and warehouse management systems and related technologies.

- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
