Job Summary

As a Talent Partner at a global level, you will be part of the Motion, BA Function Human Resources Division based in Bangalore. Reporting to the Country Talent Acquisition and Talent Advancement Manager, you will support the development of expert services within the Country/Hub while developing and retaining a skilled workforce in alignment with global and business strategies. This role is vital in the Talent Acquisition function, partnering with business and HR leaders to provide technical expertise and solutions to current and future challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver talent processes required to implement global talent strategies locally, collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and line managers to understand business talent needs and challenges.
  • Nurture the internal talent pool by advocating for development and advancement opportunities, supporting managers, candidates, and HRBPs in facilitating cross-organizational moves.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including planning recruitment campaigns, outlining role requirements, sourcing solutions, overseeing job postings, creating shortlists, conducting interviews, providing feedback, facilitating offer negotiations, and closing vacancies.
  • Actively source, build, and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management, demonstrating the ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.
  • Identify, initiate, and manage multiple recruiting campaigns and programs on social media platforms, liaising with external recruitment firms as needed to ensure appropriate job briefs and candidate fulfillment.
  • Support Employer Branding Activities, University Relationships, Early Talent, and Trainee Programs to enhance ABB's Employer Brand within the Country/Hub.
  • Identify areas for improvement in current practices, processes, and policies, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of new talent solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, HR policies, GDPR, data privacy requirements, and adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree with 7 to 10 years of professional HR experience in a high-performing global organization, preferably in the Engineering/Manufacturing domain.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in the full recruiting lifecycle, including job briefing, active sourcing, candidate outreach, offer, and close.
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies, techniques, and platforms, including digital and social media.
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking with experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to lead, consult, and influence others while maintaining a focus on customer service.
  • Fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic, and inclusive; able to constructively respond to challenging new ideas and inputs.

Experience

  • 7 to 10 years of professional HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
