Location
Our Director, Enterprise Applications can be based out of Delhi-NCR.
The Opportunity
As the Director of Enterprise Applications at TELUS Digital, you will lead and shape our
Enterprise Applications practice. In this role, you will oversee Enterprise Applications strategy
development, practice growth, and the delivery of large-scale, high-impact projects.
The priority areas would include
• SAP,
• Salesforce
• Telco products - Amdocs and Netcracker
• BI Products.
The service includes the entire spectrum from
• Consulting and Advisory: Strategic planning, roadmap development, business process
optimization.
• Implementation and Deployment: Installing, configuring, and rolling out new applications.
• Integration Services: Ensuring seamless communication between different applications.
• Managed Services: Ongoing support, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of
applications.
This high-visibility role calls for a strategic visionary with deep expertise in the following areas
with strong business acumen, and a track record of delivering value in complex environments.
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) : With strong experience on SAP.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM): with experience in Enterprise Applications.
• Integration Platforms (Middleware): Connecting disparate applications and systems across the
enterprise.
◦ API management, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), data integration.
• Low-Code/No-Code Platforms: Enabling rapid application development and citizen
development for specific business needs.
• Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics: Tools and platforms for data warehousing,
reporting, dashboards, and advanced analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Application Modernization: Migrating legacy applications to modern platforms, refactoring, or
re-architecting them for cloud environments or newer technologies.
Industry Knowledge:
• Extensive understanding of Enterprise Application technologies and their applications across
industries, including telecom, healthcare, and financial services..
• Familiarity with the ecosystem, including industry solutions, integration patterns, and best
practices for transformation.
• Knowledge of industry trends in CRM, customer experience, and digital engagement.
Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the vision for TELUS Digital’s Enterprise
Applications practice, positioning it as a leader in digital customer engagement and
delivery excellence. Scale offerings that align with emerging Enterprise Applications
capabilities and market trends.
• Practice Management and Expansion: Scale and evolve the Enterprise Applications
practice, developing frameworks, methodologies, and accelerators that enable swift and
effective delivery. Drive growth by expanding TELUS Digital’s Enterprise Applications
capabilities and service portfolio.
• Offering Development: Create market aligned offerings working with the Sales and larger
practice ecosystem. The Offerings need to be conceptualised from sales to delivery.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain executive relationships with key
clients, serving as a trusted advisor to drive value and client satisfaction. Ensure that
Enterprise Applications solutions integrate seamlessly with clients' business strategies.
• Business Development: Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify new
opportunities for Enterprise Applications solutions. Guide proposal development and lead
pursuits that align with TELUS Digital’s vision and growth goals.
• Service Delivery Ownership: Lead the successful execution of large-scale Enterprise
Applications implementations/ Oversee multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects meet
client expectations and maintain the highest standards of quality.
• Enterprise Applications Solution Expertise: Lead the development of advanced capabilities
in Solutioning for various applications. Build/nurture a strong team of architects.
• Technical Delivery Leadership: Oversee the design and implementation of complex
Enterprise Applications solutions, ensuring best practices in configuring and customizing
applications, as well as integrating third-party applications and tools.
• Financial Management: Manage the Enterprise Applications practice’s P&L, ensuring
sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Cultivate a high-performing team of Enterprise Applications experts,
fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and client-centricity. Mentor and develop
team members, supporting career growth and technical excellence.
• Innovation and Process Improvement: Introduce innovative tools and methodologies to
improve delivery efficiency, quality, and value. Stay at the forefront of Enterprise
Applications advancements to integrate emerging solutions and features into our
offerings.
• Partnership with OEM’s and Analysts: develop partnership with OEM’s and analysts.
Competencies
Experience:
• 15+ years of relevant experience in a leadership role within a top consulting firm or enterprise
environment, focusing on Enterprise Applications consulting and implementation.
• Proven expertise in SAP and other enterprise applications including Salesforce from a CRM
perspective.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in implementation of SAP and other CRM/BI solutions at
an enterprise level.
• Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects in complex, global environments.
• Experience leading a large practice, managing end-to-end implementation lifecycle, and
overseeing P&L responsibilities.
• Strong client engagement and relationship management skills, with experience advising Clevel
stakeholders on enterprise application strategies.
