Key responsibilities:

 

• Manage social media and online presence

o Create or get created content, such as blogs, founder testimonials, fund activities, and investment announcements, through freelancers

o Post through channels – LinkedIn and X; monitor and grow engagement

o Track updates and mentions related to team, portfolio companies, and their founders and amplify relevant ones

o Ensure website stays updated and improvements are continuously made

o Manage brand assets – collaterals, templates, and marketing databases

 

• Community building

o Create platforms/ opportunities to facilitate connection among various stakeholders – founders, experts, investors, and the broader startup ecosystem to expand community and deepen engagement

o Conceptualize and organize, in coordination with administration team, virtual and inperson events such as industry mixers, breakfast meetings, expert sessions, and portfolio get togethers

o Send regular updates on fund activities to portfolio companies, such as through newsletters

 

• Brand building

o Identify and execute opportunities to strengthen the brand

o Launch and lead initiatives such as podcasts, corporate governance day o Coordinate with PR agencies and media covering startup ecosystem

o Identify and secure speaking opportunities for IEVF leadership at startup conferences and events

o Work cohesively IEVF’s investment and operations team for execution

 

• Portfolio support

o Identify opportunities related to hiring, marketing, and policy and government relations for portfolio companies and make those accessible to them

 

Qualifications and requirements:

• 6-8 years of experience in marketing, especially digital, brand building, communications, content creation, event management, and community development

• Entrepreneurial approach

• Problem solving skills

• Data oriented mindset and structured working

• Strong people skills

• Passion to work with founders

• Familiarity with technology and startup ecosystem
