Job Description: Head of Marketing - TV Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Marketing for our TV channels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in the TV industry, preferably in General Entertainment Channels (GECs). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all marketing activities related to our TV channels and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our TV channels, increase viewership, and drive audience engagement. • Oversee the marketing budget for TV channels, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and ensure our TV channels remain competitive. • Lead a team of 4-5 marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to achieve departmental goals. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, programming, creative, and digital teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives. • Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote new shows, events, and special programming, taking into account the unique characteristics of long-running shows. • Monitor and analyse key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed. • Work closely with media buying agencies and negotiate advertising contracts to optimize media placements and reach target audiences effectively. • Collaborate with external partners, sponsors, and vendors to develop strategic partnerships and co-branded marketing opportunities. • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and industry professionals. • Stay updated on the latest industry regulations and ensure compliance in all marketing activities. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required. • Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in the TV industry, preferably in General Entertainment Channels (GECs). • Strong understanding of the dynamics and trends of the TV industry, including knowledge of long-running shows and audience preferences.
