Job Summary
We are seeking experienced professionals with expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, and Azure Storage to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions on Microsoft Azure, enabling efficient data integration, transformation, and storage to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. This role is essential for ensuring seamless data flow and management across our cloud-based infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
- Oversee Azure Storage solutions, including data ingestion, storage management, and data lifecycle policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and deliver scalable, reliable data solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues to ensure business continuity.
- Document data workflows, architecture, and best practices to support ongoing operations and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, transformation, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of cloud data architectures and best practices.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with data security and compliance standards.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience in Agile project environments.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data integration, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of working with Azure cloud services, especially ADF, Azure SQL, and Azure Storage.
Environment
- Full-time position based in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore.
- Office-based with potential for hybrid work depending on company policy.
- Standard office environment with collaborative team settings.
Salary
- Estimated salary range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹22,00,000 per annum (INR), commensurate with experience and qualifications.
