Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the quality of software products by utilizing various testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing quality processes and guidelines in alignment with SAP standards, contributing to rigorous testing and ensuring a high-quality end product.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes in accordance with SAP standards.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Utilize the START (Simple Test Automation for Regression Tests) tool for efficient test automation and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and enhance product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate and analyze test reports to provide insights on product quality and readiness for release.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in automation testing.
• Proficient in Selenium for automated testing.
• Familiar with START (Simple Test Automation for Regression Tests) tool.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices.

Experience

At least 6 years of substantial experience in quality assurance roles, with a focus on automation and testing tools.
