Role Overview<br />
The Product/Industrial Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and refining new products from idea to final production. This role requires a blend of strong aesthetic sensitivity, technical competence, and hands-on problem solving. The ideal candidate is highly creative yet grounded in the realities of manufacturing, materials, and user-centered design.</div>

Key Responsibilities<br />
Concept & Design Development<br />
● Generate original product concepts aligned with the Cancelled Plans brand identity.<br />
● Translate ideas into sketches, digital models, and detailed design proposals.<br />
● Research trends, materials, manufacturing methods, and user needs.<br />
3D Modeling & Technical Development<br />
● Develop high-quality 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for prototyping and production.<br />
● Create technical specifications, material lists, and tolerances for manufacturing partners.<br />
● Iterate designs based on functional, aesthetic, and production feedback.<br />
Prototyping & Testing<br />
● Build and test prototypes through in-house methods or external partners.<br />
● Evaluate usability, durability, ergonomics, and feasibility.<br />
● Conduct design refinements to optimize performance and manufacturability.<br />
Production & Vendor Collaboration<br />
● Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, and manufacturers to ensure product accuracy and quality.<br />
● Participate in sampling rounds, approvals, and quality checks.<br />
● Troubleshoot production challenges and recommend solutions.<br />
Cross-Functional Collaboration<br />
● Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to support launches.<br />
● Provide design direction for packaging, merchandising, and visual communication when needed.<br />
● Support storytelling and creative presentations for internal and external stakeholders.</div>

Qualifications<br />
● Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.<br />
● 2–5 years of experience designing consumer goods or lifestyle products (preferred).<br />
● Strong proficiency in CAD and rendering software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360, KeyShot, Blender).<br />
● Ability to generate both conceptual sketches and production-ready designs.<br />
● Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production constraints.<br />
● Strong sense of form, aesthetics, and detail.<br />
● Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines.<br />
● Excellent communication and presentation skills.</div>
