Job Summary
The AEM Lead will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. This role is crucial for leveraging content management systems (CMS) effectively, ensuring high-quality web experiences for users. The AEM Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives and contribute to the overall digital strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of AEM/CMS projects, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Design and implement front-end solutions utilizing AEM, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS preprocessors.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to create cohesive and responsive web applications.
- Maintain and optimize front-end performance for various platforms and devices.
- Oversee version control and collaboration through Git, participating in code reviews and team discussions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in AEM or CMS development.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript, including plain/vanilla JavaScript principles.
- Strong experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS or SASS.
- Knowledge of templating languages including HTML, JSP, and HTL.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React and Vue, with a plan to transition from Vue 2 to Vue 3.
- Extensive knowledge of REST principles and task runners.
- Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows.
- Experience with Bootstrap 3.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with alternative frameworks such as Svelte is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vue 3 and modern JavaScript practices.
Experience
- A minimum of 8 years in relevant technical roles, specifically in AEM and web development.
Environment
- Working hours will typically follow the Eastern Standard Time (EST) with required overlap for collaboration.
