Job Summary

The AI Engineer (NLP) will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing natural language processing (NLP) driven artificial intelligence solutions. This role is critical in creating intelligent and context-aware applications that enhance user experiences and meet enterprise-level requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize NLP-driven AI solutions using state-of-the-art models and techniques (e.g., Named Entity Recognition (NER), embeddings, summarization).
  • Build and productionize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agentic workflows to support intelligent applications.
  • Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, and deploy large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Falcon, and LLaMA for domain-specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, backend developers, and cloud architects to build scalable AI-first systems.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party models/APIs and open-source libraries for generative use cases.
  • Continuously monitor and improve model performance, latency, and accuracy in production settings.
  • Implement observability, performance monitoring, and explainability features in deployed models.
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise-level requirements for reliability, traceability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of NLP techniques and models, including NER, embeddings, and summarization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Understanding of deployment practices for AI models in production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
