Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drupal Lead Developer to join our dynamic team in Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionalities of the Drupal Content Management System (CMS), guiding the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. You will work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) and customers to facilitate migration from Salesforce to Drupal.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features and functionalities in Drupal.
• Establish and guide the website's architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability.
• Maintain technical documentation of all site builds and modifications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and graphic designers to ensure user-facing features are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Manage Salesforce integration with Drupal for effective migration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules, and core API.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, including PHP files and theme functions along with knowledge of the Drupal theme layer.
• Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g., Symfony, Laravel).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Understanding of MySQL and relational database design.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles and processes.
• Experience with Drupal's key APIs (e.g., Queue API, Entity API).
• Knowledge of web services (e.g., REST, SOAP).
• Familiarity with performance optimization of Drupal/MySQL systems.
• Experience with Drupal site migration.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.

Experience

• Between 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in Drupal development and associated technologies.

Environment

• The position is onsite in Pune, involving close collaboration with Business Analysts and customers.
