Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce DevOps Architect with hands-on expertise in Copado to lead the setup and optimization of our CI/CD processes across multiple Salesforce orgs. This role will play a critical part in enabling modular, package-based deployments, defining scalable branching strategies, and aligning DevOps best practices for large-scale programs like Salesforce Service Cloud and multi-org contact center transformations. The candidate must have experience supporting complex enterprise Salesforce implementations and be available during EST hours for collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end DevOps pipelines using Copado, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub).
- Establish sandbox management strategy, release governance, and version control best practices.
- Transition from feature-based to package-based deployments using Copado’s modular deployment features.
- Define and enforce branching strategies for multi-org programs with upstream enterprise delivery streams.
- Partner with solution architects, developers, and release managers to enable consistent, scalable deployments.
- Train and onboard internal teams on Copado usage, DevOps standards, and deployment workflows.
- Support handover planning and documentation for long-term release management.
Qualifications
- Relevant 6–8 years of experience in Salesforce development and DevOps.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Copado in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Git-based branching models and CI/CD concepts.
- Experience working with Salesforce multi-org architecture and package-based development.
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce metadata, Apex, and deployment tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead DevOps design discussions.
- Availability to work EST business hours.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in additional CI/CD tools and practices beyond those specified.
- Familiarity with other Salesforce products and services.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a DevOps environment.
