Job Summary

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the organization. This role is crucial for enhancing productivity and optimizing operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts to validate software functionality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
• Certification in test automation or related area (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in automation engineering or related fields.

Environment

• General shift work location in Bangalore.
• This position requires being on-site for 5 days a week, with a possibility of extension based on project needs.
