Job Summary

The .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET Core and related technologies. This role supports the organization by creating efficient and high-quality web-based solutions that meet client needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET Core, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Integrate Web APIs for seamless RESTful services communication.
• Manage databases using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, developing complex stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Collaborate with team members on version control practices utilizing Git to manage source code effectively.
• Contribute to front-end development frameworks, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, as part of application enhancements.
• Write and execute unit tests using testing frameworks like xUnit or bUnit to ensure code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 months of experience developing web applications with ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, and Web API.
• Knowledge of OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and design patterns such as MVVM and MVC.
• Familiarity with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks and component-based models.
• Experience developing Blazor Server and Blazor WebAssembly applications is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Azure technologies such as Azure App Services, Functions, and Container Apps.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to work in UK shift hours to accommodate collaboration with international teams.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience in front-end frameworks and tools.
• Awareness of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Certification in relevant technologies and frameworks.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in .NET development and web application frameworks.
