Job Summary

The Software Engineer – III (PHP) will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. This role aims to leverage strong PHP development skills along with experience in modern frameworks to contribute to backend solutions that enhance user experiences and meet organization goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and associated frameworks.
• Implement Backend for Frontend (BFF) patterns to optimize application performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features and functionalities.
• Ensure code quality through thorough testing, using tools such as PHPUnit and Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
• Deploy applications and manage CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in PHP development.
• Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks.
• Proficiency in jQuery.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as React 19 and TypeScript.
• Understanding of containerization using Docker.
• Experience with UI component libraries such as Ant Design.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with various testing frameworks including Jest and Pest.
• Knowledge of additional backend or frontend frameworks and technologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in software development, specifically in PHP and related technologies.

Environment

• This position is remote.

Salary

• Estimated compensation is between ₹1.2 – 1.3 Lakhs per month on a contractual basis.
