Senior Principal Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Principal Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Foundations team. This role focuses on creating scalable, secure, and reusable cloud architecture patterns, enabling faster delivery and innovation across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DevOps tools and languages using Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and will be responsible for developing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining the Cloud Foundation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the Cloud Foundations on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to meet enterprise-level needs.
• Develop and publish reusable cloud architecture patterns to accelerate cloud adoption by diverse product teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product teams and business units to understand requirements and design bootstrapped solutions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform as the primary Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool.
• Manage an Internal Developer tool/portal (IDP) to simplify and streamline cloud provisioning workflows.
• Ensure monitoring and alerting is configured to proactively address potential security, compliance, or threshold issues and incidents.
• Comply with industry regulations and the Organization’s Cyber Security Office (CSO).
• Advocate for a “shift left” mindset by guiding team members and product teams on their GitOps and DevSecOps journey.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation.

Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with a focus on enterprise-level cloud solutions.

Environment

• Work Setting: Hybrid work mode, combining both in-office and remote work.
• Location: Bengaluru Luxor North Tower.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹8,500,000.
