Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Synapse and Snowflake professional who will be responsible for managing and optimizing our data environments. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data pipelines and data warehouse solutions, contributing to the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
• Implement and manage ETL processes, ensuring data ingestion and transformation workflows run smoothly.
• Design and maintain data architecture, incorporating data modeling and data warehouse best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions and define requirements for data lakes.
• Optimize SQL queries and troubleshoot performance issues within existing data pipelines.
• Employ Agile methodologies in project execution, contributing to sprints and team objectives.

Qualifications

• 9-12 years of relevant experience in data management, specifically with Synapse and Snowflake.
• Proven expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and OLAP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Storage.
• Familiarity with data lake medallion architecture and Unified Data Models.
• Experience in working with Airflow for workflow orchestration is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
• Proficient in version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD practices.

Education

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Databricks is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience in data integration tools is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 9 years of industry experience in data engineering or related fields, ideally with experience in matrix organizations.

Environment

• This position may be based in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, or Pune and is likely to involve a hybrid work environment.

Salary

• Estimated salary of 25 LPA.
