Job Summary
The Senior Associate – Portfolio & Investment Analysis role is intended for a professional who will play a key part in the strategic decision-making and portfolio management processes of ViSure. This position offers significant ownership and responsibilities, directly interacting with leadership, founders, and CXOs to drive investment decisions and improve portfolio performance.
Responsibilities
- Review and monitor the financial and strategic performance of portfolio companies.
- Identify business risks, performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Evaluate new investment and funding opportunities through comprehensive financial due diligence.
- Build financial models, valuation models, and develop investment recommendations.
- Interact directly with founders, promoters, and CXOs to understand business performance and growth plans.
- Prepare portfolio dashboards, track key financial metrics, and present insights to the leadership team.
- Conduct market and industry research to support informed investment decisions.
- Mentor junior analysts and assist in building structured investment review processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and financial due diligence.
- Proven track record of identifying investment opportunities and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
- Experience in mentoring or leading junior analysts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with investment strategies and portfolio management practices.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in investment analysis, venture capital, or private equity firms.

Experience

Environment
This position is based in Navi Mumbai and follows a 5.5-day work week, with alternate Saturdays as working days. The work environment is highly strategic and collaborative, involving interactions with senior management and stakeholders.
