Job Summary

The State Head – 3W Cargo is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Euler Motors' three-wheeler cargo segment within a designated state. The individual will oversee sales, market development, dealer/channel management, and business operations, ensuring achievement of revenue, volume, and profitability targets. This role requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial leader with a deep understanding of the electric commercial vehicle ecosystem, capable of building markets and leading high-performance teams to establish a strong market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the overall business performance and sales targets for the assigned state, developing and executing strategic plans to meet volume and revenue goals.
  • Identify high-potential markets, customer segments, and expansion opportunities in cities, clusters, and regions, focusing on last-mile delivery, e-commerce, logistics, FMCG, and cargo applications.
  • Build, appoint, and manage the dealer/distributor network at the state level, ensuring dealer productivity, inventory management, and profitability.
  • Lead new-market launches and expansion efforts, establishing relationships with fleet owners, logistics companies, institutional customers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Build and lead the state sales and business development team, setting targets, monitoring performance, coaching team members, and ensuring effective ground-level execution.
  • Manage business and P&L metrics, including revenue, volume, contribution, market share, and dealer performance, while preparing forecasts and periodic reviews.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such as dealers, fleet operators, financiers, government agencies, and internal teams (product, marketing, service, finance, operations) to ensure seamless operations and growth.

Qualifications

  • 5–15 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in automotive, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, or three-wheelers.
  • Proven experience managing state-level or regional sales/business operations.
  • Strong background in dealer/channel development and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sales targets and large teams.
  • Deep understanding of the local market dynamics, commercial vehicle ecosystem, and customer behavior.
  • Experience in cargo three-wheelers, LCV, CV, or EV segments is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent business acumen, with proficiency in working with numbers, targets, and P&L metrics.
  • Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; MBA is preferred.
