ETL Tester/Developer

Job Summary

The ETL Tester/Developer will work as part of a dynamic team, reporting to the Team Lead. This role focuses on ensuring data integrity and quality within the payment domain by developing and executing validation processes, as well as collaborating across functions to identify and solve data quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues.
• Develop and implement data validation processes to maintain data integrity as required.
• Create well-structured test plans and test designs.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to drive the QA process, contributing ideas and process improvements.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using relevant tools.
• Participate in documenting team QA methodologies and technical findings for future reference.
• Work with the Team Lead on the definition and implementation of new QA tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ETL Tester/Developer.
• Proficient in Data Warehouse concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience in the Payment Domain.
• Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of additional data validation tools would be advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years in ETL testing and data validation processes.
