Web Development Lead
Job Summary
As the Web Development Lead, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the company’s marketing website. In this role, you will own the performance, architecture, and functionality of the website, ensuring it remains secure, fast, and aligned with the company’s branding and growth goals. You will work very closely with the Growth Marketing team as their technical partner to ship landing pages, optimize SEO, improve conversion rates, integrate with tools (such as HubSpot and GA4), and support diverse marketing experiments.
Responsibilities
- Website Ownership: Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of the marketing website, ensuring it meets performance, security, and design standards.
- Landing Page Creation: Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create and launch high-performing landing pages for campaigns, SEO initiatives, and product launches.
- Site Performance & SEO: Ensure best-in-class site speed, mobile performance, adherence to Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO hygiene.
- CMS & Architecture: Build scalable content systems to support easy publishing, localization, and A/B testing across the website.
- MarTech Stack Integration: Manage integrations with growth tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Hotjar, Tag Manager, CRM systems, and other marketing technology solutions.
- Analytics & Tracking: Implement and maintain event tracking, conversion goals, and robust attribution models to drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in front-end/web development in growth-focused environments (e.g., ConsumerTech, SaaS, DTC).
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, especially React.js (React/Next.js preferred).
- Strong experience with CMS systems, including Webflow, WordPress, or headless CMS solutions.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience working with MarTech tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, and Hotjar.
- Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), landing page best practices, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with localization/internationalization for global websites.
- Understanding of technical SEO aspects such as structured data (schema), sitemaps, and robots.txt.
- Familiarity with hosting and CDN services like Vercel or Netlify.
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies and serverless functions for developing custom apps or integrations.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of proven front-end or web development experience with a strong focus on performance, SEO, and conversion optimization.
