Job Summary

The Data Engineer will play a vital role in our organization by utilizing their expertise in data engineering to manage and optimize data pipelines, as well as to support data analysis and reporting. This role contributes to enhancing data-driven decision-making processes within the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust ETL processes using SQL, SQL Server, and SSIS.
• Implement and manage data engineering solutions in Azure, particularly using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Data Fabric, and Databricks with PySpark.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of complex SQL Server based data warehouses.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and improve data access and usability, especially in a Finance Data Warehouse environment.
• Create and manage data visualizations using Power BI.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills by working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, SQL Server, and SSIS.
• Solid experience with Azure data engineering tools, including ADF, Data Fabric, Databricks, and PySpark.
• Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of complex data warehouse environments.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Finance Data Warehouse is a significant advantage.
• Ability to demonstrate proactiveness in identifying and solving data challenges.
