Service Now Developer with ITOM and CMDB Experience with CAD/CIS Certification Mandatory

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Service Now Developer to join our team at an AI-based multinational company. The ideal candidate will develop, customize, and maintain the ServiceNow platform with a specific focus on ITOM and CMDB modules. This role is crucial in supporting our innovative projects and ensuring seamless integration, efficient operations, and robust configuration management. The candidate must hold a mandatory CAD/CIS certification to be considered for this Full-Time Employment position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain: Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow modules with a focus on ITOM and CMDB functionalities.
  • System Integration: Implement custom workflows and integrations to enhance ServiceNow capabilities and automate processes.
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline business processes, troubleshoot issues, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Compliance & Upgrades: Ensure that the ServiceNow environment complies with industry best practices and standards, while participating in system upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Documentation & Training: Produce detailed documentation and provide end-user training to support knowledge transfer and system adoption.

Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Development: Proven expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications.
  • ITOM & CMDB: Strong understanding of IT operations management (ITOM) and configuration management database (CMDB) best practices.
  • Mandatory Certification: Must possess a current CAD/CIS certification.
  • Technical Acumen: Proficiency in scripting, integrations, and custom workflow creation within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI technologies and their applications in IT operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and agile development methodologies.
  • Advanced certifications or additional credentials in ServiceNow or ITOM-related areas.
  • Previous exposure to ITSM modules and enterprise-level IT environments.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in ServiceNow development, preferably with 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in ITOM and CMDB management.
  • A background in working on complex, enterprise-level ServiceNow implementations is highly desirable.
